Ensure your tyres go further with our regular tyre maintenance service. Whether you have purchased new tyres, or you are looking for assistance with a repair, you can book in a tyre fitting or check as part of our regular tyre maintenance service. No job is too big or too small. We have serviced tyres of all shapes and sizes, from prams through to commercial machinery. We’re here to help prolong the life of your tyres.

A tyre is out of balance when one section of the tyre is heavier than the others. A wheel balance redistributes weight around the tyre to extend life of your tyres, increase performance and increase your vehicle’s safety. To balance a wheel, one of our tyre experts will mount it on a balancing machine that spins the tyre and wheel to locate the heavier part, which will then be compensated for by attaching a weight on the opposite side.

Our quality wheel balancing ensures that your tyres and wheels do not have a heavy spot that may cause vibration and premature tyre wear. Unbalanced tyres may also cause accelerated wear of your shock absorbers, struts and other steering and suspension components.

When combined with a wheel alignment, balanced wheels ensure a smooth ride, maximum tread life and increased vehicle performance.

When Do You Need Your Wheels Balanced?

  • If your steering wheel or vehicle is vibrating or your tyres are particularly noisy.
  • When you are replacing your tyres.
  • When you are rotating your tyres.

Extend the life of your tyres with a professional wheel balance today.

Put simply, wheel alignment is the science of precisely measuring and then positioning the wheels on your car to ensure the least amount of wear to your tyres. When correctly set it will significantly extend the life of your tyres, your car also should handle better, be safer to drive and enjoy greater fuel economy.

When Do You Need a Wheel Alignment?

  • If your steering wheel isn’t straight or your car pulls to either side or wanders on straight roads.
  • After an encounter with a particularly nasty pothole or kerb.
  • When you are replacing your tyres.
  • We recommend a wheel alignment twice a year to ensure your vehicle’s safety, to improve handling and to help maximise the life of your tyres.

Two of the most common problems that can cause rapid tyre wear are incorrect Camber and Toe-In settings.

What is Camber?

This measurement determines whether your wheels lean in, out or sit straight up in a vertical position. Incorrect camber makes your car feel as if the steering is pulling to either side. Correct camber ensures the right amount of tyre tread is in contact with the road for safer turning, braking and reduce tread wear.

What is Toe-In?

If your front wheels are ‘pigeon-toed’, you have toe-in and if they’re pointing out like ballerina’s feet you have toe-out. Both lead to tyre scrubbing and excessive tread wear and may also cause unpredictable steering response.

Our Wheel Alignment Services

Every vehicle has a different combination of camber, castor and toe measurements. These must be correctly measured, interpreted and adjusted by an expert. We utilise your vehicle’s specifications, as recommended by the manufacturer, and these are available for reference to ensure the best possible results.

Our services include:

  • Standard Alignment
  • Front wheel alignment angles are measured and adjusted.
  • Thrust Alignment
  • Front and rear wheel alignment angles are measured with adjustments made to the front wheels.
  • Four Wheel Alignment
  • Front and rear wheel alignment angles are measured and all four wheels are adjusted accordingly.

Get your tyres back on the straight and narrow with a wheel alignment today.

Solid filling for tyres utilises a soft urethane compound that completely fills the tyre, replacing all of the air and eliminating flats. The solid fill contains deflation proof characteristics comparable to pneumatic tyres. It is designed to operate under severe working conditions where tyre abuse is common.

Why use solid fill?

Utilising solid tyre fill can eliminate expensive downtime while improving tyre wear and performance. When applied to the right situation, our solid fill service has proven to reduce punctures, blow outs, under inflation, repairs, and stoppages. It can also deliver a softer ride, adding to operator comfort, greater traction due to the larger footprint, less equipment damage from caused by vibration and improved energy conservation.

A car battery’s primary function is to help start the engine. It also stores energy generated by the alternator and runs the secondary electrical systems or additional components in your vehicle.

Taking care of your car battery

You can look after and maintain your battery’s longevity by:

  • Regularly checking for and removing corrosion.
  • Cleaning both the negative and positive terminals.
  • Checking the alternator belt for tension and wear.
    • When should you replace your battery?

If your vehicle is showing any of the following signs, there may be an issue with your battery.

      • Your vehicle won’t start.
      • The vehicle is silent when you turn the key in the ignition.
      • Your vehicle makes a clicking noise, but won’t start.
      • The battery keeps running down.
      • The battery seems weak and fails to crank your engine normally.

These are common indications that you may need a new battery or battery connections.
